Distribution Home Office

Overview: The Field Education Specialist is responsible for delivering education to our sales force through a variety of mediums including intranet, virtual and/or live classroom and individual and small group consultations and through modules designed for use by the field management/education team.&nbsp;<strong>This position can be remote depending on candidate experience. For local candidates, the position will be a hybrid model.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Delivering product, process, sales and technology education to our sales force/points of distribution and the introduction of new business model</li> <li>Educating sales distribution on life insurance, retirement and financial services products for both Horace Manna and Authorized Third Party Vendor products</li> <li>Must be able to perform in a matrix-management environment</li> <li>The expansion of products and services, learning new product features/benefits as well as the technology required to market/support those products</li> <li>Addition of partner products/services</li> <li>Maximize distance learning capabilities to ensure appropriate programs and resources are available to field distribution channels on demand in support of sales, products, processes and technology</li> <li>Insure curriculum/programs for field distribution channels are compliant, comprehensive, effectively delivered and monitored for effectiveness</li> <li>Ability to deliver field education to a variety of different audiences, including but not limited to, licensed producers, agents and sales leadership</li> <li>Critical focus on the delivery of educational curriculum designed for the field distribution channels including field leadership, agents and licensed and unlicensed agent staff</li> <li>Ensure distance learning capabilities are fully implemented and monitored for effectiveness</li> <li>Partner with line divisions to identify product, processes, sales and technology educational needs; recommending the most effective means to deliver education with the objective of enabling sales distribution to effectively and confidently market products/services to our market</li> <li>Partner with field sales distribution in the delivery of just in time and relevant educational opportunities</li> <li>Some responsibility to building educational curriculum with the support of team resources</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Property &amp; Casualty license preferred; or ability to obtain</li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience</li> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the insurance industry, insurance sales, sales management or equivalent</li> <li>Must be self-motivated and results driven with minimal direction</li> <li>Proven experience delivering educational curriculum</li> <li>Other Travel will be minimal 10-15 days per year</li> </ul>
