Join our dynamic Underwriting team as an&nbsp;<strong>Insurance Operations Specialist</strong>, where your skills will directly impact the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of our underwriting process.</p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>As an&nbsp;<strong>Insurance Operations Specialist</strong>, you'll play a key role in evaluating individual risks against corporate standards to ensure accurate policy placement and top-tier service. You&rsquo;ll also support critical functions like policy changes and renewals, collaborating across teams to drive success.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Evaluate individual risks to determine acceptability and ensure proper policy placement per corporate standards</li> <li>Review, evaluate, and process change requests and renewals in accordance with underwriting guidelines, business practices, and state regulations</li> <li>Maintain individual production and quality standards in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and business partners</li> <li>Collaborate with peers and management to identify and implement process improvements</li> <li>Support department service-level agreements for timely processing</li> <li>Maintain a strong working knowledge of Property &amp; Casualty underwriting philosophies and industry practices</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>High school diploma or GED</strong>&nbsp;required.</li> <li>College degree or some college preferred.</li> <li>Prior knowledge or experience with&nbsp;<strong>Property &amp; Casualty insurance products</strong>&nbsp;is a plus.</li> <li>Strong organizational and data entry skills.</li> <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>A proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</li> </ul>
