Overview: <p><strong>Inside Sales Representative &ndash; Property &amp; Casualty (Remote)</strong></p> <p><strong>Class Hire Date- April 20,2026</strong></p> <p>Horace Mann is seeking a motivated&nbsp;<strong>Inside Sales Representative</strong>&nbsp;to join our team and support educators across the country. In this role, you&rsquo;ll engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls, email inquiries, and digital platforms to drive new business. This is a remote position, and candidates must already hold an active P&amp;C license. This remote position requires an active P&amp;C license and be available for all shifts during our hours of operation:&nbsp;<strong>Monday&ndash;Friday, 8:00 AM&ndash;8:00 PM (CT)</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Saturday, 9:00 AM&ndash;2:00 PM (CT)</strong>.<br /><br /></p> <p>Pay Range:</p> <ul> <li><span class="collapsed-field-text">$21.44- $29.16</span>&nbsp;per hour + sales incentive bonus.</li> </ul> <p>Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain required daily call/contact volume to meet production goals.</li> <li>Use effective sales techniques to achieve close-ratio targets.</li> <li>Meet established quality and compliance standards.</li> <li>Stay up to date with licensing and regulatory requirements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>You&rsquo;ll be successful in this role if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Communicate clearly and confidently with customers.</li> <li>Can explain insurance products and help customers understand their options.</li> <li>Are motivated by sales goals and performance metrics.</li> <li>Look for opportunities to refine your sales approach and improve results.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active Property &amp; Casualty License required.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li> <li>Two years of college or equivalent business experience, preferred.</li> <li>Call center, sales, or customer service experience.</li> </ul> <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Work location is flexible if approved by the Company except that the position may not be performed remotely from New York.</strong></p>
