Requirements: <p><strong>Strong Communication</strong></p> <ul> <li>Clearly convey technical findings in actionable business terms.</li> <li>Basic understanding of project management and the ability to collaborate across teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to interpret trends, patterns, and relationships within data.</li> <li>Experience applying analytical or statistical techniques to support decisions.</li> <li>Demonstrates curiosity and a drive to explore data for insights and opportunities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Visualization &amp; Business Intelligence Tools</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to create intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for varied audiences.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Power BI, including KPIs and self-service reporting.</li> <li>Experience designing and optimizing data models or semantic models in Power BI or Fabric.</li> <li>Familiarity with Power BI automation (Workspaces and apps, deployment pipelines, refreshes, Fabric workflows).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Proficiency</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming relational data.</li> <li>Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M) for BI-focused calculations and transformations.</li> <li>Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.</li> <li>Ability to use Python for data preparation, automation, or advanced analysis.</li> <li>Experience with generative AI tools for analysis or coding is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Independence</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Works effectively both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred education/experience: OR Required education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Applied Economics, Data Science, or a related field.</li> <li>2+ years of analytical or BI experience preferred.</li> <li>2+ years of P&amp;C or Life/Retirement insurance industry experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience with data visualization, semantic modeling, reporting, and SQL-based data manipulation.</li> </ul>
