Overview: We are seeking a Senior Investment Operations Analyst to own critical investment reporting, data-quality and portfolio support processes for the Company&rsquo;s investment portfolio. This role provides exposure to fixed income, equity and derivative investments and regularly prepares reporting and high-value analysis for senior management, executive committees, rating agencies, regulators and the Board of Directors. The successful candidate must have advanced Excel proficiency, be detail-oriented and able to work independently to solve complex problems as well as work collaboratively. <br /><br />The position is in the Middle Office team <span class="modified">reporting within the office of</span> the Chief Investment Officer. <br /><strong><strong><br /></strong></strong> <p><strong>Salary Range</strong>: $66,500.00 - $92,000.00&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to support investment analysis and reporting.</li> <li>Generate investment reporting for diverse internal and external stakeholders including executive committees and the Board of Directors.</li> <li>Produce daily and weekly reports including fixed income trades and unrealized gain/loss positions.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes including incorporating AI tools where appropriate and consistent with Company governance requirements.</li> <li>Integrate third-party data sources such as Bloomberg into data analysis and reporting for fixed income, equity securities and derivatives.</li> <li>Support investment portfolio operations in coordination with Investment Accounting, external managers, custodians and vendors.</li> <li>Manage collateral operations in support of the Company&rsquo;s Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) spread investment program and state-required deposits.</li> <li>Compile and organize investment data in Excel for annual rating agency surveys.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.</li> <li>3-5 years' relevant experience, insurance investment/middle office experience preferred.</li> <li>Candidate must be proficient in Excel including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, aggregation formulas, PivotTables, chart/table construction and reconciliation of large datasets.</li> <li>Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Effective collaboration across multiple teams.</li> <li>Professional communication and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Bloomberg and Bloomberg API experience preferred.</li> </ul>
