Overview: <p class="p1">The&nbsp;position&nbsp;is responsible for increasing community awareness and promoting the company&rsquo;s brand in the marketplace. This position will be responsible for developing ongoing relationships with referral agencies and community organizations. The Business Development Specialist will also be responsible for attending relevant networking and marketing events in order to expand business contacts and relationships.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manages all occupancy and revenue goals for the community</li> <li>Utilizes Salesforce to accurately manage sales funnels, conversion ratios, and move-in metrics</li> <li>Complies with Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission requirements</li> <li>Seeks new opportunities to expand our growing number of referral sources</li> <li>Make daily outbound calls to prospective customers in database to schedule visits and tours</li> <li>Manages the leasing center on site during the construction phase</li> <li>Provides tours of models or vacant apartments to future residents and referral agency network</li> <li>Assists with marketing initiatives and resident events</li> <li>Serves as an educational resource for residents, caregivers, and staff members</li> <li>Promotes the organization in a positive manner and sets the example for organization standards for excellence</li> <li>Maintains effective communication and cross collaboration throughout the community</li> <li>Coordinates occupancy, goals and resident/prospect information</li> <li>Prepares and manages all relative reports</li> <li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, or &ldquo;non-traditional&rdquo; work hours as business demands dictate</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous experience in sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals</li> <li>An understanding of the senior market and various senior living products is a plus but not a requirement.</li> <li>Desire to listen to, connect with, and serve seniors by matching their needs to our service offerings and successfully move them into our communities</li> <li>Aggressive sales instinct with the ability to close while maintaining compassion for our customers</li> <li>Ability to manage time effectively</li> <li>Must exhibit a high degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics</li> <li>Must possess strong leadership skills to work effectively both independently and as a team</li> <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for clients</li> <li>Microsoft Office and Salesforce proficiency is desirable</li> <li>Some travel may be required</li> </ul>
