This is a role for someone who wants to deliver a reliability strategy aligned with our continuous process manufacturing. People like you!</p> <p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking a &nbsp;Reliability Engineer to join our team at our new plant. This plant should serve for best practices across the country. This is a role for someone who wants to deliver a reliability strategy aligned with our continuous process manufacturing. A strategy to drive quality, service and efficiency to achieve product delivery at the lowest possible cost.</p> <p><strong>Who we need</strong></p> <p>You are an experienced Reliability Engineer who thrives in the role of first-point-of-contact addressing reliability issues. Someone who equally enjoys conducting research and analysis to introduce best practices with a focus on lean operations and continuous improvement. You are looking for an opportunity to return to or stay in Hillsboro and be a strong contributing member of the community. You want to play an active role implementing best practices and standards while focusing on analysis to prevent shut downs. This is a proactive role for someone who is excited to hit the ground running and immediately immerse themselves in our operations and processes.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and upkeep the life cycle management program</li> <li>Interact between maintenance planner, maintenance and management team</li> <li>Participate in planning and scheduling maintenance outages for proper on hand inventory</li> <li>Implement and apply best practices</li> <li>Support safety and quality throughout the facility</li> <li>Strong mechanical and electrical background with an emphasis on successful implementation of systems</li> <li>Participation with suppliers and vendors for best pricing availability</li> <li>Estimate and drive performance expectations of equipment based on life cycle standards</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What you bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.</li> <li>3-5 years direct experience as a Reliability Engineer &nbsp;in a continuous process manufacturing plant including: <ul> <li>Working knowledge of tool room and assembly processes and practices</li> <li>Hands-on experience in manufacturing and machine troubleshooting activities</li> <li>Knowledge of MS Office and the ability to understand and process CAD drawings, read and understand blueprints and schematics</li> </ul> </li> <li>Continuous Improvement experience (Six Sigma, Lean or 5S).</li> <li>Proven team building skills. You have strong written and verbal skills. You can motivate and guide the work of your team and facilitate discussions and learning where needed.</li> <li>Initiative and innovation. You can draw on your past experience and current knowledge to troubleshoot issues.</li> <li>Drive. You are proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, deadline focused and you have the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.</li> <li>Collaborative approach.
