Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Meet and exceed personal sales goals; coach other associates to do the same</li> <li>Create outstanding customer relations and influence all staff members to do the same; be a role model for outstanding customer service to all sales associates</li> <li>Assists other members of the store management team in setting and maintaining store standards including but not limited to sales performance, profitability, associate conduct, scheduling and manpower distribution, merchandising and housekeeping standards</li> <li>Possess and share a high level of product knowledge; effectively demonstrate products; coach others to effectively do the same</li> <li>Conduct all business in a thoroughly honest and dependable manner, including but not limited to all register functions, inventory and inventory control, special orders, price changes and handling customer sends</li> <li>Assist with and evaluate associate training and consequent associate performance that support the company&rsquo;s high standards of courtesy, service and job proficiency</li> <li>Observe and coach other team members in day-to-day performance. Serve as role model for job performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Develop staff to achieve the highest levels of personal performance with decreasing levels of direct supervision; to train staff and coordinate efforts to achieve goals; train staff to meet customer service standards expected of all store associates.</li> <li>Achieve satisfactory performance results</li> <li>Follow open/close procedures as well as exchange/return functions</li> <li>HR compliance</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Have a minimum of&nbsp;<strong><em>4+ years retail sales/customer service experience with at least 2+ yrs in retail management (as an Asst. Store Manager or Store Manager)</em></strong></li> <li>Previous operations, personnel, and visual merchandise experience is a MUST</li> <li>Flexible schedule (which may include nights, weekends, and holidays)</li> <li>Possess prior experience overseeing store opening and closing procedures</li> <li>Exhibit Strong team-building/leadership ability and a willingness to lead by example</li> <li>Have proven track record of reliability and the ability to work BOTH independently and as a team</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Have a naturally energetic, bubbly &amp; outgoing personality</li> <li>Demonstrate a personally-driven attitude, excellent customer service/sales skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to every customer, while also driving product sales and promotions personally and staff-wide</li> <li>Be able to lift up to 30 lbs</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
