Overview: <br /> <p>Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Security person to join our&nbsp;team.&nbsp;</p> <p>Maintain safe and secure environment for employees by patrolling and monitoring premises, personnel and equipment at Idaho Forest Group.</p> <p>Position pays $22.00/hour plus shift differential for swing and graveyard shifts.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <div><br /> <ul> <li>Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules and regulations</li> <li>Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned site/s, providing for the security and safety of IFG property and personnel.</li> <li>Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.</li> <li>Controls access to facility through the admittance process.</li> <li>Perform foot patrols and vehicle driving patrols</li> <li>Patrol site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, fires, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.</li> <li>Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.</li> <li>Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.</li> <li>Prepares Fire logs and Log Notes and reports as required.</li> <li>Complies with all IFG and OSHA safety standards.</li> <li>Provides maintenance assistance as needed or as requested.</li> <li>Maintain housekeeping of the Security office on routine basis.</li> <li>Assist with Intermittent Fire Watch when the Mill is staffed. Perform all Fire Watch when the Mill is unstaffed (weekend graveyard). Note; approximately 2000 HW Permits are issued annually.</li> <li>Inspect all Petroleum Products Storage Areas (Fuels, Hydraulic Systems, Tanks and Drums) in the course of making patrols. Documents inspections monthly.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining Authorized Vehicle log.</li> <li>Assist inbound traffic to their destination once determined to be authorized to enter.</li> <li>Issue Parking Permits as needed to new employees, visitors and contractors. Update the tracking spreadsheet as needed.</li> <li>Issue Warnings or Notices to employees or contractors who are parked in unauthorized areas. Secure (wheel lock) vehicles as directed by Supervision.</li> <li>Maintain a tracking system of Property Removal Authorizations.</li> <li>Investigate and document incident events to the Security Supervisor (trespass, medical, fire, property damage etc.)</li> <li>Complete a Daily Activities Report to be provided to the Security Supervisor upon completion of each shift. (see example below).</li> <li>Inspect all First Aid Stations monthly (21 cabinets), complete an inventory, submit the inventory to the Security Supervisor for re-order. From the re-ordered supplies, replenish the First Aid Stations during when performing the next inspection.</li> <li>Inspect all Eye Wash Stations (16 locations). Verify that Wash Fluid is not expired. Replace any expired fluid. Clean and flush Stationary Eye Wash Stations. Document results to the Security Supervisor.</li> <li>Coordinate with the Mill Fire Department or other Emergency Responders for traffic control or to escort responders to incident location and assist as needed.</li> <li>Perform all duties in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.</li> </ul> </div>
