Overview: <br />The Senior Corporate Accountant reports to the Corporate Accounting Supervisor. The Corporate Senior Accountant should be detail oriented as they will prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with the preparation of consolidated financial reports.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly corporate journal entries.</li> <li>Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.</li> <li>Review corporate credit card reconciliation. Upload monthly credit card activity into general ledger.</li> <li>Assist the Assistant Controller with preparing and consolidating corporate financial statements.</li> <li>Maintain and reconciling fixed assets schedules.</li> <li>Prepare daily bank and monthly cash reconciliations for all bank accounts.</li> <li>Assist corporate department managers and supervisors with interpreting accounts, records and reports as requested.</li> <li>Participate or lead process improvement projects.</li> <li>ERP and accounting system implementation.</li> <li>Provide necessary inputs for daily/weekly cash forecasts.</li> <li>Assist with 401(k) external audit and 5500 financial statement preparation.</li> <li>Prepare documentation for external auditors.</li> <li>The listed items may not be the only duties performed in this position - there will be other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-24"> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting.</li> <li>CPA preferred.</li> <li>2+ years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Public Accounting experience preferred.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge in computer systems including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, electronic scheduling and e-mail, and financial planning software.</li> <li>Able to deal professionally, courteously, and tactfully with the public and coworkers.</li> <li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License for business travel.</li> <li>Ability to pass a drug, physical, and background check.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>SALARY</strong><strong>&nbsp;<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Range starting at $75,000 per year.</li> <li>Depends on Experience and Education.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As a condition of employment, Idaho Forest Group requires employees to complete a variety of pre-employment screening processes which may include, but are not limited to: criminal background check, drug and substance test, reference check, prior work verification, driving history (MVR), education verification, aptitude/skills testing, and credit checks.
