Overview: <p><strong>IDAHO FOREST GROUP IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED JOURNEYMAN MILLWRIGHT LOCATED IN MOYIE SPIRINGS, ID</strong></p> <p><strong>Competitive Pay Structure from $33.95 to $39.95 per hour DOE. $2.00 per hour shift differential where applicable. $2500 Incentive Bonus at Sign-On.<br /></strong></p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>As a Journeyman Millwright with Idaho Forest Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery used in our production process. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment such as saws, conveyors, planers, and other machinery utilized in lumber processing.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance procedures on manufacturing equipment using cutting, welding, power and hand tools.</li> <li>Maintain machine centers for optimal use.</li> <li>Assemble, install, and repair equipment following blueprints and schematics.</li> <li>Lay out, cut, grind, form, and weld parts.</li> <li>Document work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).</li> <li>Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules, regulations and Job Safety Analysis.</li> <li>Keep work areas clean.</li> <li>Maintain a production-level work pace.</li> <li>Other duties as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>7-10+ years' Millwrighting experience in a manufacturing setting.</li> <li>Certification in hydraulics and pneumatics, crane and rigging, wire and stick.</li> <li>High school diploma or GED.</li> <li>Knowledge of OSHA and state regulations.</li> <li>Technical Skills:</li> <ul> <li>Proficient in power drive systems, welding, bearings, and lubrication.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Skills:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Have a working knowledge of industrial equipment.</li> <li>Ability to work at varying heights.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.</li> </ul> <li>Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.</li> </ul> <p><br />***Specific job duties and shifts may vary per mill based on machinery.</p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <p>Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement.
