Overview: Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Shop Scheduler/Planner to join our Central Fab Shop team.<br /> <br />This position schedules workflow through the Machine, Fabrication, and Letourneau shops and will assist in inventory of raw materials. <br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulation, and JSAs</li> <li>Create estimates/quotes for mills</li> <li>Communicate with mills on jobs/requests</li> <li>Ensure parts are available for scheduled work</li> <li>Communicate with suppliers on material cost/availability</li> <li>Create and add orders to E2 software system</li> <li>Work with shop/fab leads to schedule jobs through the shop</li> <li>Inventory material</li> <li>Produce reports for Accounting and Fab Crew Supervisor</li> <li>Use Dynastar to request material for stock</li> <li>Communicate with purchasing on timelines of orders and parts received</li> <li>Must have the ability to read detailed prints and determine needed material</li> <li>Keep working areas clean</li> <li>Other duties as needed</li> </ul>
