Overview: Impact is hiring an Instructional Designer for our nationally ranked Best and Brightest Workplace!<br /> <br />The Instructional Designer will be an integral part of Impact&rsquo;s Corporate Education &amp; Professional Development department &ndash;the Impact Leadership Institute&ndash; delivering creative, innovative, and effective learning solutions across the entire organization. Utilizing and abiding by industry-leading techniques and standards, the Instructional Designer will research, design, and develop training assets that support a well-established foundational pedagogy and corporate learning philosophy.<br /> <br />This individual will be equally imaginative, strategic, and communicative in nature &ndash;collaborating with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and teammates to guide high-level educational strategy, creative direction and provide multi-faceted, multi-channel learning tools in an ever-evolving industry.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Work within a cross-functional team to help establish learning KPIs, curriculum standards and achievement metrics</li> <li>Help translate learning goals into actionable and executable strategies utilizing adult learning principles</li> <li>Attain Impact-solution expertise, in order to support the development and evolution of targeted curriculum</li> <li>Deliver integrated and interactive assets across multiple mediums, including digital self-paced training, instructor-led training and certification programs</li> <li>Create a diverse range of instructional materials and content &ndash;including custom graphics, participant guides, storyboarding, presentations and scripted video content&ndash; that ensures knowledge transfer and retention</li> <li>Drive end-user adoption by engaging and coaching necessary teams and departments, eliciting feedback on training needs and collaborating on resolutions</li> <li>Work alongside team Educators and Digital Learning Specialist(s) to problem-solve training challenges and ensure proper execution &amp; delivery of designed curriculum, including evaluation processes</li> </ul>
Requirements: The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative and process-oriented problem-solver with a thirst for professional fulfillment, eye for design and passion for learner engagement. This individual with be highly adaptable, self-sufficient, detail-oriented and eager to learn the business technology landscape.<br /> <br />Qualifications, Skills &amp; Abilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Education, Communications, Computer Science, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems or other related discipline</li> <li>3-5+ years professional experience in Instructional Design/Adult Learning Principles; must have current portfolio</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to design &amp; execute course curriculum, ensure SCORM compliancy</li> <li>Expert proficiency in instructional design applications (Captivate, Lectora, Articulate, MS Office, Dreamweaver, Lesson Builder, HTML, Claro, iSpring Suite, Audio &amp; Media tools, e-Learning authoring toolkits, etc.)</li> <li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to juggle multiple projects and changing deadlines, remain open-minded and adaptable</li> <li>Ability to work within a team-oriented environment, have fun and drive progress</li> </ul>
