Overview: <br /> <p>Impact is hiring a&nbsp;<strong>Learning &amp; Development Specialist&nbsp;</strong>for our nationally ranked Best and Brightest Workplace!</p> <p>The Learning &amp; Development Specialist will be an integral part of Impact&rsquo;s Learning &amp; Development team &ndash; the&nbsp;<em>Impact Leadership Institute</em>&ndash; helping author, advance, and implement key learning initiatives across the enterprise. In this role, you will utilize multiple modalities of adult learning (including ILT, e-Learning, Field Training) and execute various steps of the L&amp;D lifecycle &ndash;helping define, develop, design, and deliver effective L&amp;D solutions.</p> <p>This individual will be equally communicative, strategic, and imaginative in nature &ndash; collaborating with executive stakeholders, subject matter experts, and teammates to provide multi-faceted, omnichannel learning experiences in an ever-evolving industry.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Demonstrate best practices and methodology in each phase of the training lifecycle;&nbsp;<em>assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation</em>&nbsp;(i.e. conducting a learning needs analysis, crafting skill assessments, creating design storyboards, architecting design frameworks, and facilitating training sessions)</li> <li>Craft thoughtful and integrated learning journeys to propel organizational &lsquo;learning culture&rsquo; and enhance the &lsquo;Employee Experience&rsquo;</li> <li>Create a diverse range of instructional materials and enablement collateral &ndash;including presentation materials, participant guides, storyboarding, simulations, social learning, video content, games, etc.</li> <li>Develop and conduct focused learning experiences and ongoing education initiatives</li> <li>Showcase proficiency in learning technology (spanning LMS strategy and support, media design, authoring software, gamification experience, program development, etc.)</li> <li>Absorb complicated technical concepts, and transform into digestible, progressive learning plans</li> <li>Analyze and distill data to drive informed decision-making and recommendations for performance solutions</li> <li>Build internal relationships and work alongside ILI team to create well-defined quantitative and qualitative success metrics, and create meaningful change within business units</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p>The ideal candidate will be a dynamic problem-solver, thoughtful communicator, and out-of-the-box thinker, with a thirst for innovative learning experience design. This individual will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and eager to drive results in the business technology landscape.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications, Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years professional experience in Learning &amp; Development roles anchored in Adult Learning and LX best practices; demonstrated experience in program development &amp; design (current portfolio required)</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to design &amp; execute course curriculum, adhering to Instructional Design standards</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Education, I/O Psychology or related discipline (or equivalent experience &amp; background)</li> <li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to juggle multiple projects and changing deadlines, remain open-minded and adaptable</li> <li>Ability to work within a team-oriented environment, have fun and drive impactful change</li> </ul>
