Overview: <strong>The Opportunity<br /></strong><br />A Sydney-based group of Pain Specialists is seeking your expertise in the promotion of its services and brand, in addition to assistance with practice system innovation and development.<br /><br /><strong>The Company<br /></strong><br />Our client runs a multidisciplinary pain centre with a commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care. It is a company with a mission to provide the latest medical advances in interventional pain medicine in the context of multidisciplinary care. <br /><br /><strong>The Role<br /></strong><br />This is a challenging position for a business-orientated candidate with experience in the health sector. We require a dynamic team-player who will embrace a diverse role encompassing strategic development of the practice, including the management of business development projects, marketing, professional networking, improving clinical and operational efficiencies, website management and e-media development.<br /><br />The Projects Manager will be responsible for creating and developing new strategies for growing the referral base and driving their implementation. This will include co-ordinating marketing initiatives, website updates and development, and relationship building with key business stakeholders. The candidate will be instrumental in identifying and implementing change to optimise practice systems efficiency.<br /><br />The candidate will work as part of a collaborative team with the Directors and the Practice Manager. Remuneration is dependent upon previous skills and experience; however, an attractive salary is on offer to the right candidate.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for the management of business development projects for the company</li> <li>Deliver projects in line with company organisational strategy and core values</li> <li>Innovate business growth and development strategies and drive their implementation</li> <li>Analyse and implement a strategic and continuous improvement model to optimise efficiency in clinical and operational systems</li> <li>Monitor and review monthly key reports to evaluate progress of business development projects, activities and growth of the company</li> <li>Enlarge and enrich the referral base of the practice</li> <li>Organise and attend educational activities for this purpose</li> <li>Promote the practice&rsquo;s brand via traditional and digital marketing modalities</li> <li>Manage website updates and search engine optimisation</li> <li>Create a regular newsletter for distribution</li> <li>Liaise with and develop relationships with key business connections, such as medical device companies and health delivery organisations</li> <li>Conduct research to identify opportunities for further expansion of referral base or service provision to the consumer</li> <li>Ensure the company maintains a competitive advantage through conducting ongoing research on competitor products and services</li> <li>Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats against the company</li> <li>work closely with the Practice Manager</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in a management position within the health industry</li> <li>Previous experience in nursing, science or the pharmaceutical industry is highly regarded</li> <li>Tertiary qualification in health or business management, nursing, or science</li> <li>Experience in business operational matters, including system analysis, designing efficient business systems and implementation of new ideas</li> <li>Project management experience, with the ability to demonstrate how and what you have delivered</li> <li>An aptitude for creative thinking and innovation</li> <li>Experience in working harmoniously within a team environment</li> <li>Proven organisational skills and time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure timely task completion</li> <li>A high level of computer literacy, including familiarity with website management and using social media/ email platforms</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal communication skills, to enable interaction with all levels of people</li> <li>Motivation, energy and dynamism to drive a business forward</li> <li>Flexibility to travel</li> </ul>
