Overview: <br /> <p>The Regional Technical&nbsp;Manager will partner with Regional&nbsp;Directors and project staff to support the projects in their respective region(s) to continuously meet regulatory, environmental, and contract compliance and improve operational performance. This role will support these efforts with first-line troubleshooting for process-related problems, assist with the enhancement and improvement of system processes, assist Regional Directors with promoting new services and scope expansion and assist in the transition of new projects.</p> <p><strong>Massachusetts Grade 6/7 License required</strong>.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Conduct site visits at projects on a rotating basis within the assigned region</li> <li>Meet with PMs and project staff to understand operational and compliance challenges and assist in developing and implementing solutions</li> <li>Provide guidance to PMs to ensure facilities are in compliance with their operating permits and with EPA regulations</li> <li>Provide first line troubleshooting for process-related problems</li> <li>Assist in developing and implementing process control management plans (PCMPs) as needed</li> <li>Provide guidance and assistance in conducting incident investigation and root cause analysis for environmental excursions; assist PM to identify and implement corrective actions</li> <li>Accompany the Regional Director and/or PM at client meetings to provide technical expertise as requested</li> <li>Assist in conducting due diligence for new opportunities in the region as needed to support the TSG Client Solutions team</li> <li>Assists in the transition of new projects and post-transition training in the Region</li> <li>Support projects in other regions where the individual&rsquo;s capability and expertise are needed</li> <li>Support Inframark's Health &amp; Safety department and safety programs</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements</li> <li>Demonstrates an understanding of the principles and applications associated with Water production and distribution</li> <li>Demonstrates an understanding of the principles and applications associated with Wastewater treatment and collections</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the Regional Manager, Project Manager, and plant staff.</li> <li>The ability to collect and analyze operational data and trends.</li> <li>Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets, reports and use Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Demonstrates the ability to motivate people, assess and develop fellow employee skills.</li> <li>Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to organize resources to accomplish tasks, monitor performance against goals and milestones, and plan in advance for upcoming changes in compliance.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field and/or a minimum of eight years of plant/management operation experience</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operator certifications/licenses in water and/or wastewater are preferred</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p> <ul> <li>In the field, continuous walking, stair climbing, and light lifting</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>TRAVEL</strong></p> <p>Up to&nbsp;<strong>75%</strong>&nbsp;travel in the US on average, primarily within the assigned geographic region, is expected.</p>
