Overview: <br />The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing social events as well as assisting with activities and recreation programming for the community. This position performs administrative and customer service-related functions.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Manages all aspects of event planning, implementation and follow up, including:&nbsp;Establishing an annual calendar of social events; Communicating event dates, times, locations; Hiring vendors/volunteers; Opening/Closing recreational center for each event; Decorates or forms a committee to decorate for events and holidays.</li> <li>Develops and manages event and activity budget. Reconciles class, event, and rental income.</li> <li>Manages and oversees community groups and volunteers.</li> <li>Oversee website maintenance. Prepare the community newsletter and event fliers as needed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with facilitating, scheduling and coordinating community programming.</li> <li>Coordinate, train, schedule, and manage event staff for community, events, rentals, and recreation programs.</li> <li>Required to work events and recreation programs. Includes working nights, holidays and weekends.</li> <li>Assists Lifestyle Manager with reports and Board of Directors meetings. Back up to the Lifestyle Administrator as needed.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Accurate and attentive to detail</li> <li>Proficient computer (Excel and Word)&nbsp;</li> <li>General knowledge of clubhouse operations</li> <li>Ability to problem solve and diplomatically handle customer issues</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Education/Experience</em></strong>:&nbsp; High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience .
