Overview: <br />The Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support duties requiring extensive knowledge of company functions, policies, and practices.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Handles the operational and maintenance planning, scheduling, and controlling of water and wastewater plants.</li> <li>Prepares training documents for use by Operations Managers and employees. Maintains all filing systems.</li> <li>Completes timely, accurate reporting including: process control reports, well logs, monthly wastewater reports, residual reports, Weekly Account Manager reports, insurance filings, keeling assets &amp; tracking (GPS, etc.).</li> <li>Maintains filing systems and other related office functions including: purchase orders, invoices, various inventories, work orders, management of subcontractors, preparing meeting agendas, payroll timesheets, Birdnest entries/updates, DLQOR reports.</li> <li>Tracks plant safety inspections and audits.</li> <li>Orders and maintains operator supplies.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong><em>Education/Experience</em></strong>: High School Diploma or GED and five years related experience.</p> <p><strong><em>Technical</em></strong>: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications &amp; internet. Ability to work with basic office equipment &amp; phone systems. Ability to work with numbers, including calculations &amp; cash handling. Ability to type 35 WPM, including Alpha-numeric keys &amp; 10 key-machine. Working knowledge of billing and payment processing. Familiar with rate orders &amp; contracts.</p> <p><strong><em>Communication</em></strong>: Communicates clearly &amp; professionally. Contributes to a positive internal &amp; external customer experience. Willing to help others. Maintains composure in challenging situations.</p> <p><strong><em>Problem Solving &amp; Quality</em></strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Pays attention to detail. Identifies &amp; solves problems. Willing to take on additional assignments.<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p> <p>The work environment is characteristic of an office environment: sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required to perform job responsibilities. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 30 lbs.</p>
