Overview: <br /> <p>The Construction Manager tasks include:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver Enhanced Service projects to all clients mainly in the Central Region (Texas and Oklahoma)</li> <li>Oversee construction/renovation projects from beginning to end</li> <li>Manage the budget and estimate costs</li> <li>Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, along with local team</li> <li>Resolve any problems that may arise</li> <li>Evaluate risks</li> <li>Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team</li> <li>Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements</li> <li>Ensure appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites are obtained</li> <li>Plan construction operations with local operations</li> <li>Ensure all deadlines are met</li> <li>Hire contractors</li> <li>Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards</li> <li>Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>10 yrs experience in Construction and Project delivery/management</li> <li>Licensed PE, preferably Civil with construction</li> <li>Familiar with Microsoft software, scheduling software, (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)</li> <li>Experience in contract writing and delivery, ability to develop subcontract agreements and manage</li> <li>Familiar with governmental regulations, ability to deal with local, state, and federal representatives</li> <li>Experience in procurement processes, financial reporting</li> <li>Experience in client presentations, working with client staff, both municipal and private.</li> </ul>
