Overview: <br />The Commercial Audit Analyst is responsible for auditing all commercial accounts and some residential accounts for billing accuracy in all districts. Verifies meter size accuracy and confirms rates are being applied as stated in the district rate order.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Prepare commercial checklist to send out to field personnel</li> <li>Review rate order to ensure most current rates are calculating correctly</li> <li>Review grease traps are being billed and charged correctly</li> <li>Review the meter size and type of commercial account</li> <li>Research and correct any errors found</li> <li>Calculate any errors found to see if there is under billing or overbilling impact</li> <li>Work with field personnel for commercial information</li> <li>Work with account managers on any discrepancies</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong><em>Education/Experience:&nbsp;</em></strong>High School Diploma or GED. 5 years of related experience.</p> <p><strong><em>Technical:</em></strong>&nbsp;Extensive experience and knowledge in working with billing systems. Working knowledge of rate orders. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet. Working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and formulas. Ability to work with office equipment &amp; phone systems. Ability to work with numbers, including calculations. Ability to type 35 WPM, including Alpha-numeric keys &amp; 10 key-machine.</p> <p><strong><em>Communication:&nbsp;</em></strong>Communicates clearly &amp; professionally.
