Overview: <br /> <p style="text-align: justify;">The Business Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining markets for assigned service lines in the public, and association management industry to achieve established individual and team goals while adhering to the values of the company in best practices.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">(This position can be based out of Texas or Florida)</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Develops plans to increase market share of assigned campaigns or markets through communications with property owner associations, municipal government officials, networking with peripheral industry professionals and consultants</li> <li>Seeks out and researches prospective projects through established sales channels and recommends the development of alternate sales channels</li> <li>Drives the process for targeted pursuits, developing and executing sales strategies with inside sales and representative network</li> <li>Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key industry influences</li> <li>Keeps company management informed of business conditions that may affect the assigned campaign, targets, or markets</li> <li>Provides external leadership for the assigned campaign, targets, or market by actively participating in trade shows, seminars, and training activities</li> <li>Ensures that profit margins are maximized for the assigned campaigns</li> <li>Works with marketing and promotions, including advertising, review media, specials sales, and publish different formats of the same work (subsidiary rights).</li> <li>Tracks status of projects including reporting spreadsheets, tracking software for monthly reporting</li> <li>Maintains close contact with client&rsquo;s key persons throughout the project development stage, proposal stage, and the final selection process</li> <li>Procures RFQ, RFP, and bid documents</li> <li>Completes bid forms, bond requests, contract checklists, etc. including expediting appropriate corporate signatures</li> <li>Attends pre-bids and site meetings</li> <li>Assists in the development of written materials, proposals, and price quotations</li> <li>Assists in preparing and presenting proposals to potential clients</li> <li>Assists in project start-up to ensure all key elements of the proposal are met</li> <li>Ability to comprehend financials, budgeting, and projections</li> <li>Performs follow-up with clients to ensure the service contract and performance is satisfactory</li> <li>Assists in evaluation of lost projects to increase contract wins</li> <li>Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <br /> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Effective written and verbal communication skills; strong business development and sales experience; proficiency in Word and Excel</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and 5-10 years related experience or an equivalent combination of related education and experience</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Relevant AMS, CMCA, PCAM, LCAM, are desirable</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p> <ul> <li>May require occasional evenings, overnight, and/or weekend travel a couple times a year.</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.</li> </ul>
