Overview: <br />The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment to prolong the serviceable life of all equipment.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Assists Lead Maintenance Technician in performing various maintenance tasks.</li> <li>Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.</li> <li>Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on various equipment.</li> <li>Prepares rigs for daily use.</li> <li>Repairs and replaces pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other equipment.</li> <li>Conducts routine equipment maintenance tests.</li> <li>Performs vibration analysis and other non-destructive testing.</li> <li>Prepares pipes and fabricated supports.</li> <li>Performs maintenance requiring metal cutting including welding, brazing, and soldering.</li> <li>Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion.</li> <li>Cleans shop area.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> <li>Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call.</li> </ul> <br /><br />
Requirements: <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Education/Experience</em></strong>: High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience or equivalent training.</p> <p><strong><em>Licenses/Certifications</em></strong>: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments): SCBA, CSI, Crane and Forklift Operator, Rigging, Metal Cutting.</p> <p><strong><em>Technical</em></strong>: Ability to follow manual &amp; operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications &amp; internet. Working knowledge of all preventative and corrective maintenance activities associated with the operation of water/wastewater treatment facilities.</p> <p><strong><em>Communication</em></strong>: Communicates clearly &amp; professionally. Contributes to a positive internal &amp; external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback.</p> <p><strong><em>Problem Solving &amp; Quality</em></strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Pays attention to detail. Identifies &amp; solves problems.
