Overview: <br />The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment and assisting the Lead Maintenance Technician with specialized tasks.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Cleans and maintains tools and equipment. Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on various equipment.</li> <li>Performs sandblast (street signs, light poles/fixtures, archways, bridges, trash receptacles, shade structures, benches).</li> <li>Installs, repairs, and removes concrete. Replaces/repairs sidewalk panels. Installs and repairs stone and brick.</li> <li>Assists Lead Maintenance Technician in performing various projects and tasks.</li> <li>Assists Lead Maintenance Technician in training new team members. Assists with project scheduling and team management as needed.</li> <li>May also assist other employees with other tasks including: Completes asphalt repairs, conducts general pressure washing of boardwalks and applies sealer; Paints property assets including curbs, crosswalks, fences, benches, etc.</li> <li>Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion. Orders materials.</li> <li>Cleans shop area.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> <li>7:30-3:00pm Monday through Friday. Some weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Education/Experience</em></strong>: High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience.</p> <p><strong><em>Licenses/Certifications</em></strong>: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License (Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments).</p> <p><strong><em>Technical</em></strong>: Ability to follow manual &amp; operating instructions. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications &amp; internet &amp; CMMS Systems. Advanced knowledge of all aspects of mechanical &amp; hydraulic systems troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Knowledge of hazardous material handling.</p> <p><strong><em>Communication</em></strong>: Communicates clearly &amp; professionally.
