Overview: <br /> <p style="line-height: normal;">&nbsp;</p> <p>We are looking for a Licensed Plumber in our Bridgeport CT plant.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Plumber is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing equipment necessary for the efficient operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Repairs, maintains, overhauls, and installs plumbing equipment required to operate sewage treatment plants, pump stations, and administrative buildings.</li> <li>Inspects equipment to ensure that equipment is operating as specified and within safety standards.</li> <li>Performs immediate inspections in the event</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <br /><br />
Requirements: <br /> <p style="line-height: normal;">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Education/Experience</em></strong>: CT Union required - High School Diploma or GED, trade school training, and 10 years of related experience, two of which must include a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and installation work (with minimum supervision) in the water/wastewater industry.</p> <p><strong><em>Licenses/Certifications</em></strong>: Journeyman level CT Licensed Plumber, Valid Driver&rsquo;s License (Class B CDL preferred). Valid Plumbing License (P1) issued by the state of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. Other licenses may vary according to specific sites and assignments.</p> <p><strong><em>Technical</em></strong>: Ability to follow manual &amp; operating instructions. Advanced knowledge of water/wastewater. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications &amp; internet.</p> <p><strong><em>Communication</em></strong>: Communicates clearly &amp; professionally. Contributes to a positive internal &amp; external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback.</p> <p><strong><em>Problem Solving &amp; Quality</em></strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Pays attention to detail. Identifies &amp; solves problems.
