Overview: Oversee and direct maintenance personnel, equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventative maintenance. Inspect and evaluate physical plant, grounds, and related equipment.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Coordinate with outside contractors to perform activities, repairs, preventive maintenance on building equipment, and building and grounds appearance.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Purchase and manage all related maintenance supplies and plant equipment repair parts for all equipment in facility.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Participates in the development and implementation of goals, strategies, and operating policies/procedures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Manages teams related to hiring, on-boarding, performance management, utilization, training, development, salary, promotions, transfers and terminations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Schedules and organizes jobs for each crew.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Performs QA/QC for&nbsp;work orders.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Manages vehicle and equipment repairs and oversees tool and parts lists required for each employee.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Meet and approves outside contractors to ensure all company SOP's are met.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Interfaces with other departments in reference to scheduled jobs and vehicles.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Assists with building and inventory needs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Ensures all DOT requirements are followed.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Facilitates weekly maintenance meetings.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><strong><em>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;</em></strong>BA/BS in related field and 5+years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; with a minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience in a supervisory role in the water and wastewater field.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><strong><em>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:&nbsp;</em></strong>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required, A water and/or wastewater license is preferred.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><em><strong>Communication</strong></em>: Communicates clearly &amp; professionally.
