Overview: The Instrument Technician II is responsible for installing, replacing, repairing and maintaining various types of electrical/instrumentation components in support of wastewater operations
Responsibilities: <li>Performs various maintenance tasks in support of all instrumentation.</li><li>Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.</li><li>Prepares rigs for daily use.</li><li>Maintains, repairs and calibrates flow meters, chart recorders, samplers, controllers, pH & dissolved meters other instruments.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li><li>Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.</li></ul>
Requirements: <p><em><strong>Education/Experience</strong></em>: High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience or equivalent training in electronics/instrumentation.</p> <p><em><strong>Licenses/Certifications</strong></em>: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments):&nbsp;<strong>VT-SCADA knowledge and experience highly preferred.</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Technical</strong></em>: Ability to follow manual &amp; operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications &amp; internet. Working knowledge of controllers, feedback and feed forward controller systems, process control systems, flow meters and related instruments.</p> <p><em><strong>Communication</strong></em>: Communicates clearly &amp; professionally. Contributes to a positive internal &amp; external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback.</p> <p><em><strong>Problem Solving &amp; Quality</strong></em><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Pays attention to detail. Identifies &amp; solves problems.
