Overview: Collections Specialist is responsible for the analysis of client accounts and procedures associated with implementing an approach to various collection matters.
Responsibilities: Perform some or all of the various collection function that include: <li>Review and perform audit on associations’ account status reports</li><li>Process initial payment plan requests and agreements</li><li>Prepare demand letter mailings and report for billing</li><li>Coordinate and process all incoming inquiries regarding various collection matters</li><li>Facilitate account turnover to third party collection firms</li><li>Post charges to owner accounts as necessary</li><li>Reconcile incoming funds for account settlements on homeowner accounts</li><li>Assist in making deposits</li><li>Assist in annual mailing of invoice and budget data to residents</li><li>Assist in the continuation of developing and improving collection processes</li><li>Work closely with the collection and AR team members to create ways to find success as a group</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul> REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: <p><strong>Education, Experience and Skills</strong></p> <p>Education/Experience: BS degree and/or 2-5 years of experience in Accounting or Collections (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Proficient in learning database software quickly.
