Overview: The IT Data Programmer Analyst is responsible for assisting in the delivery of software and data solutions and providing technical assistance to users.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Designs, develops and maintains database and application components, including: Microsoft SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, MS Access and other custom VB, .NET and Web based applications.</li> <li>Ability to write structured complex SQL queries and work with multiple databases across platforms. Ability to extract, manipulate and migrate structured and rationalized data from disparate systems both on premise and in the cloud.</li> <li>Gather and identify requirements for new and existing systems / applications by establishing communication with business users.</li> <li>Experience in Designing, Coding, Unit Testing, and implementing software development and integration solutions with vendor products.</li> <li>Perform upgrades and provide maintenance and support for major and minor applications including major SaaS based applications, web portals and Intranets.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><em><strong>Education/Experience</strong>:&nbsp;</em>BS in computer science or equivalent experience and 4+ years of experience.&nbsp;<em><strong>Licenses/Certifications:&nbsp;</strong></em>Current Microsoft certifications desirable.</p> <p><em><strong>Technical:&nbsp;</strong></em>Ability to follow manual &amp; operating instructions. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications &amp; internet. Experience with: designing/developing Windows and browser-based software solutions (VB.NET or C#.NET), JavaScript. Additional experience preferred: Work Order Management Systems (Infor Public Sector preferred) and Utility Billing.<br /><em><strong>Problem Solving &amp; Quality&nbsp;</strong></em>Pays attention to detail. Identifies &amp; solves complex issues. Escalates issues accordingly; Checks work for quality. Shares suggestions to improve quality &amp; productivity. Identifies, solves complex issues.
