Overview: The ideal candidate will be Business Analyst who has experience&nbsp;in Rewrites, Backlogs, and Identifying roadblocks. As the BA/Scrum Master, you will be working directly with the Mobile QA and rewrites and other initiatives.
Responsibilities: <p><em>Backlog Management Practices</em></p> <ul> <li>Works with Product Owners and team members to learn and practice healthy backlog management and prioritization practice</li> <li>Facilitates the execution and improvement of backlog refinement</li> <li>Prepares for and facilitates release planning with teams</li> <li>Assists in dependency management and cross-team coordination</li> </ul> <p><em>Agile Ceremony Facilitation</em></p> <ul> <li>Facilitates continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture on teams</li> <li>Facilitates ceremonies, collaboration, communication, and conflict management</li> <li>Teaches new team members Agile mindset and frameworks, practices, and process</li> <li>Influences the organization in the removal of organizational impediments and development of healthy Agile practices</li> <li>Mentors Product Owners and team members in agile practices and continuous improvement</li> </ul> <p><em>Delivery Team Support</em></p> <ul> <li>Removes impediments to the team&rsquo;s ability to perform</li> <li>Acts as a buffer between external distractions to minimize disruptions</li> <li>Assists in the coordination of operational issue resolution</li> <li>Facilitates team development, mediates conflicts protecting the team and encourages healthy team dynamics.</li> <li>Fosters team responsibility, self-accountability, transparency and self-organization</li> </ul> <p><em>Business Analyst Responsibilities</em></p> <ul> <li>Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats</li> <li>Interface with the business to identify and capture business requirements and help create proper workflows and wireframes with rest of the team</li> <li>Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write specifications</li> <li>Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements;</li> <li>Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions</li> <li>Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential</li> <li>Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends</li> <li>Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making</li> <li>Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required and presents findings of studies to client committees</li> <li>Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes</li> <li>Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement</li> <li>Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Demonstrated Experience as an Effective Interface between Business teams and Technology Teams</li> <li>At least 5 years or more experience as a business analyst in successfully launched projects in dynamic teams and enterprises</li> <li>Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive; Big picture thinking, works well under pressure and tight timelines</li> <li>Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational</li> <li>Ability to work independently and with others</li> <li>Extremely organized with strong time-management skills</li> <li>Excellent Communicator with Good Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills</li> <li>Ability to capture requirements in clear and concise manner in standard specification documents</li> <li>Should be able to wear multiple hats of Scrum master, BA and when needed, oversee/interface with QA and be hands-on on each aspects to ensure quick turnarounds</li> <li>Should be able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities</li> <li>Should be open to new technologies, tools and learning processes and be able to learn/pick up new tools with ease</li> <li>Should not be pigeon-holed into set processes, tools that they may have used in a prior setting</li> <li>Should be positive, non-confrontational and collaborative</li> </ul>
