Responsibilities: <ul> <li> <p><strong>Support Production Needs:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and repair equipment, focusing on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.</li> <li>Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.</li> <li>Assist in project planning and implementation.</li> <li>Identify and communicate problems or opportunities for improvement.</li> <li>Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on forklifts.</li> </ul> </li> <li> <p><strong>Support Facilities Needs:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain HVAC, plumbing, structural, and grounds systems.</li> <li>Operate and maintain chilled water systems and compressed air systems.</li> <li>Assist with janitorial tasks as needed.</li> </ul> </li> <li> <p>Repair or replace existing electrical systems with a Maintenance Electrician on staff.</p> </li> <li> <p>Track and record daily activities and parts usage.</p> </li> <li> <p>Execute 6S and TPM activities as required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.</p> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Vocational school education or equivalent in six courses in five of the following areas: <ul> <li>Electronics, Machine Shop (Advanced), Hydraulics, Water Treatment Systems, Pneumatics, Sheet Metal, Welding (Arc, Gas, Tig), Power Transmission, Electricity, PLC Function, Drafting/Layout/CAD, AC/DC Drives.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Equivalent prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 5 years preferred).</li> <li>Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proficient with PC applications.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.</li> <li>Capability to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and carry tools/materials for a 12-hour shift as needed.</li> <li>Strong attendance and performance record.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Primary Tools and Equipment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Various powered and non-powered hand tools.</li> <li>Diagnostic equipment, including meters and testing devices.</li> <li>Common machine shop equipment (drill press, welding equipment, etc.).</li> <li>Computer and maintenance management software.</li> <li>Equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints.</li> <li>Fork trucks, man lifts, and ladders.</li> <li>Various chemicals for water systems, cleaning, and lubrication.</li> </ul>
