Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, extrusion dies, and calibrators.</li> <li>Set up and operate Wire EDM (WEDM), CNC mills, and manual machining equipment.</li> <li>Program CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software.</li> <li>Read blueprints and specifications and produce tooling that meets tight tolerances.</li> <li>Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers.</li> <li>Ensure tooling is completed accurately and on time.</li> <li>Keep the toolroom clean, organized, and safe.</li> <li>Support and follow our Quality Management System (QMS).</li> <li>Participate in safety training and ongoing skill development.</li> <li>Help guide and support newer or developing shop team members.</li> <li>Contribute to a positive toolroom culture and continuous improvement efforts.</li> <li>Take on other tasks as needed to support the team.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul type="disc"> <li>Technical College education in Machine/Tool Processes or equivalent hands-on experience.</li> <li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to read blueprints and work with precision measuring tools.</li> <li>Experience with machining equipment.</li> <li>Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>4+ years of experience as a Toolmaker or Machinist.</li> <li>Experience with CAD/CAM programming.</li> <li>Basic computer skills.</li> <li>Solid math and organizational skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Ability to regularly lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs. with assistance.</li> <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and carry tools or materials during 8&ndash;12-hour shifts.</li> <li>Willingness to support a 24-hour / 5-day-per-week manufacturing operation.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;*The pay range for this role represents a good‑faith estimate based on the position&rsquo;s responsibilities, market data, and geographic location.
