Overview: <strong>AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years or older</strong><br /><br /><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br /><br />Responsible for designing, implementing, and administrating the Isleta Resort and Casino&rsquo;s server, storage hardware, software, network, and telecom (telephones, cell phones, and radios) needs while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all the Isleta Resort and Casino guests. Occasionally assists other Systems Administrator and IT Managers with ensuring reliability, uptime, and security for all supporting all hardware and software applications and systems.<br /><br /><strong>Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement</strong><br /><br />All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.<br /><br /> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds.</li> <li>Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></p> <p>Work is generally performed in both a Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level, exposure to various lights and sounds and a high paced office setting; possibility of working outdoors in extreme weather conditions such as high levels of heat, cold, winds, rain, hail, and snow. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.<br /> <ul> <li>Administers and monitors the Isleta Resort and Casino&rsquo;s corporate email systems, and archiving, storage area networks, virtual desktop integration (VDI), virtual server environments, and server hardware and software.</li> <li>Monitors, maintains, and ensures performance, security standards, uptime and effectiveness of the server and storage resources.</li> <li>Serves as liaison for the organization with hardware and technical support vendors.</li> <li>Provides basic server, storage and VDI support training to IT staff.</li> <li>Ensures all server and storage systems are updated and maintained per manufacture recommendations and IT standards.</li> <li>Documents and maintains detailed inventories of all server and storage hardware and software center.</li> <li>Plans technological of server and storage hardware and software.</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring all server and storage systems, when required, and takes proactive steps to achieve 100% up time.</li> <li>Reviews server and storage security to ensure IT standards and industry best practices are met on an ongoing basis.</li> <li>Ensures server operating systems, data, and programs are backed up according to IT internal controls and standard operating procedures.</li> <li>Coordinates and documents annual testing of backups to ensure integrity.</li> <li>Implements and administers system monitoring technologies and server event management.</li> <li>Maintains server and client performance and security through the use of systems software and appliances.</li> <li>Assists in network support.</li> <li>Orders and prices relevant system equipment.</li> <li>Serves as liaison for the organization with hardware and technical support vendors and service providers.</li> <li>Documents and maintains detailed technical inventories of all server-related hardware and software.</li> <li>Responsible for backing up all servers, databases and settings.</li> <li>Coordinates and provides technical administration for PBX hardware/software.</li> <li>Assists with the configuration and support of SSL VPN.</li> <li>Documents and controls all vendor supplied software.</li> <li>Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.</li> <li>Ensures an open and welcoming atmosphere that promotes skill enhancement.</li> <li>Gives basic instruction on all promotions and special events, as requested.</li> <li>Occasionally performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <table style="height: 1661px;" width="771"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 6.65in;" width="638"> <p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or related field, required.&nbsp;</li> <li>MCSE, MCSA or other professional certifications, preferred.</li> <li>Two (2) years' working experience as a Systems Administrator in a Windows server environment with VMWare Virtualization exposure; administering and maintaining an Exchange Enterprise email system; and experience designing, implementing and maintaining Virtual Desktop Integration in an enterprise environment, required.</li> <li>Two (2) years' working knowledge of virtualization and storage area networks, preferred.</li> <li>Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. &nbsp;</li> </ul> </td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 6.65in;" width="638"> <p><strong>Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA.</li> <li>Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.</li> <li>Must be flexible with work schedule.
