Responsibilities: <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Prepare and cook meals across our diverse range of food outlets, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Understand and follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the executive chef.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Operate a variety of kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Manage time effectively to meet service, prep, and cleaning expectations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Assist in the development of menu items and daily specials.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional training is preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Ability to work efficiently under pressure.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Flexibility to work in different outlets as needed.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.</span></li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Native American Preference Policy:</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;">Isleta Resort and Casino will at all times and for the positions give hiring, transfers, and promotional preferences to qualified Native American applicants in the following order: Enrolled Pueblo of Isleta Tribal Member; Enrolled pueblo of Isleta Descendants; and Registered Native American from a federally recognized tribe.</span></p>
