Overview: <p style="font-weight: 300;">This is primarily a sales&nbsp;<strong>MANAGEMENT</strong>&nbsp;position.&nbsp; The chosen applicant will provide leadership and direction to their sales team so that they can provide customer service to industry OEMs, distributors, and end-users. The Sales Director will ensure that the sales team will generate leads and follow up on existing customer accounts to gain an understanding of their needs and recommend specific Company product-focused solutions to satisfy the requirements.</p> <p style="font-weight: 300;">The Director will follow up to ensure that the sales team will oversee developing new business and growing sales within their designated territory. &nbsp;A desirable candidate possesses&nbsp;excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, and presentation skills.&nbsp;</p> <p style="font-weight: 300;">This position can be local to the NE Ohio office or in a remote position as desired by the Sales Director.</p> <p style="font-weight: 300;">The core of this position involves continuous learning regarding products, sales techniques, applications, systems, and customer equipment.</p>
Responsibilities: <p style="font-weight: 300;"><strong>Inquiry Support</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Evaluate customer&rsquo;s needs and specifications for technical and commercial feasibility.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Grow sales and generate new leads</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Attending Trade shows while working cross-functionally with other company employees.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Developing and or maintain current customers.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Sales reporting.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Review completed non-standard product evaluation forms, outline drawings, and 3D models. If necessary, suggest revisions.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p style="font-weight: 300;"><strong>Experience &amp; Educational Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Experienced selling power transmission or other industrial technology products.&nbsp; Familiarity with the gearbox industry is ideal -gears and gearboxes-gearmotors</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Previous success leading a team in a technical sales environment.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or similar.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Knowledge of motors, brakes, couplings, gearboxes, and/or AC drives and related products.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Ability to read and understand drawings, catalogs, price lists, and technical documents.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Must have strong problem-solving skills.</li> <li style="font-weight: 300;">Familiar with CRM systems.</li> </ul>
