Responsibilities: <p>You will be planning and implementing clinical support for our residents as well as researching, developing and implementing supporting programs such as our dementia program. You will manage resident volunteer activities and programming, while sustaining community support groups; such as, Alzheimer/Dementia, Parkinson's, Transition and Grievance. You will also be responsible for staff development such as orientation, training and direct supervision of Recreational Enrichment Coordinators. This position provides meaning and support to many important aspects of the residents' daily lives.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <p>We want to speak with individuals who hold a valid&nbsp;<strong>Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) Certification&nbsp;</strong>as well as a&nbsp; Bachelor's Degree in Health/Wellness or a relevant field. Prior management experience (3+ years), as well as a minimum of two years' experience of engagement with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Well-developed skills in general management, organization and strategic planning will be vital to this position.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
