Overview: <p>In this position, the Sales Manager, working in tandem with Marketing and Public Relations, will drive, lead and implement sales strategies for the communities at John Knox Village while meeting targeted sales goals. This is an exciting and dynamic position that plays a key role in&nbsp;promoting John Knox Village&rsquo;s mission.&nbsp;</p> <p>In exchange, this position offers a base salary plus an aggressive commission plan, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, paid time off and more!</p>
Responsibilities: <p><u>Position Responsibilities:</u></p> <ul> <li>Develop a sales training curriculum; provide positive reinforcement of training programs to sales staff</li> <li>Provide advice and counsel to sales staff regarding the handling of prospects throughout the sales process&nbsp;</li> <li>Understands and clearly explains the history of a Life Plan Community and the Village, the management structure, policies, services, amenities and procedures</li> <li>Can clearly articulate and execute knowledge and presentation of: fee structures, contract types, floor plans, design elements and application process</li> <li>Provide analysis and reports for: Sales and activities by day, week, month year; runs daily CRM reports</li> <li>On a daily basis utilize CRM to maximize all sales efforts</li> <li>Lead weekly &ldquo;Hot Board&rdquo; meetings with sales team</li> <li>Hold Sales team accountable for departmental and individual weekly, monthly and annual goals</li> <li>Make weekly sales presentations to individuals and groups, as well as in the community</li> <li>Contact new qualified leads; respond to all inquiries within 24 hours; maintain timely communication with all leads; acquire new sales and sustain them through residency; network with existing and potential leads</li> <li>Achieve and surpass established weekly, monthly and annual goals and make recommendations to exceed goals &ndash; for the team and individually</li> <li>Assist with standardizing work methods and in setting benchmarks; make recommendations for positive change or improvement</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><u>Position&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;</u></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field</li> <li>5+ years of direct sales and management experience</li> <li>A passion for working with the elderly population and the desire to promote John Knox Village's corporate goals</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff</li> <li>Prior experience working in a Life Plan or Senior Living setting</li> <li>Tech savvy; proficient with CRM and report generation</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with staff, prospects and leadership</li> </ul>
