Overview: Kforce client is seeking a Senior Collections Representative in Kent, WA. Summary: In this role, the Senior Collections Representative is responsible for resolving delinquency on automobile loans, negotiating payment arrangements; skip tracing to locate customer or unit and reviewing accounts for repossession. This position is in a manual queue-based calling environment with substantial auto dialing.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Senior Collections Representative will review open accounts for collection and skip trace efforts</li> <li>Handle inbound/outbound collection calls in a professional manner</li> <li>Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates</li> <li>Strategize work queues according to company objectives</li> <li>Skip trace to locate customer or unit</li> <li>Identify opportunities for account recourse</li> <li>As a Senior Collections Representative, you will send all applicable statutory notices</li> <li>Review accounts for repossession</li> <li>Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and review with supervisor as needed</li> <li>Review and monitor any assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports</li> <li>Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements</li> <li>Follow and maintain policies and procedures in all aspects of the position</li> <li>The Senior Collections Representative will perform other assignments and duties as directed by supervisor</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School diploma, or general education degree (GED) required and College degree</li> <li>2+ years of experience in collections and skip tracking experience required (Auto Collections experience preferred)</li> <li>Working knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)</li> <li>Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Internet Explorer</li> </ul>
