Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Deliver internal and external guest service by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile &amp; greet the guest. Be friendly, polite &amp; use courteous language. Provide especially timely &amp; knowledgeable service; and then some! Always find solutions to guests&rsquo; problems. Use the guest&rsquo;s name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).</li> <li>Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.</li> <li>Greets guests and shines shoes while providing excellent customer service. Offers assistance and/or instruction in the use of Barber Shop.</li> <li>Completes register transactions for services and retail purchased.</li> <li>Collects fees for services; handles retail sales.</li> <li>Maintains Shoe Shine stand in clean and attractive condition.</li> <li>Maintains par stock levels for shoe shine supplies.</li> <li>Reports any safety hazards to supervisor.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.</li> <li>Superior customer service skills required.</li> <li>Knowledge of fitness and equipment preferred.</li> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous related experience preferred. 2-3 years of Professional Shoe Shining experience required.</li> </ul>
