Responsibilities: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acts as a mentor to employees in order to provide superior customer service.</li> <li>Hires, trains, schedules, evaluates, and manages staff to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance, resources, and information to perform work responsibilities and achieve established objectives.</li> <li>Establishes and maintains department objectives, standards, procedures, and budget to ensure the proper management of department.&nbsp;</li> <li>Trains, motivates and supervises personnel on assigned shift; implements disciplinary procedures.</li> <li>Appraises work situations; directs, delegates, schedules and organizes work crews through their leaders to accomplish all assigned job functions.</li> <li>Assigns routine and non-routine job functions to departmental employees; performs time and attendance.</li> <li>Maintains a good public relations image to Penn Gaming, Inc.&rsquo;s departments and patrons.</li> <li>Maintains departmental cleanliness standards through inspection process throughout all assigned areas of responsibility by observing and correcting any work-related deficiencies.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Position is at times subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.&nbsp;</li> <li>At times this position works with various types of chemicals; proper safety precautions are taken.</li> <li>This position occasionally works outdoors and is subject to all weather conditions; proper clothing is provided.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.</li> <li>Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area.</li> <li>Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.</li> <li>Ability to use a computer keyboard, calculator and typewriter.</li> <li>Ability to operate all Building &amp; Grounds cleaning equipment.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of cleaning tools, chemicals and procedures.</li> <li>Working knowledge of the purchasing system and time and attendance system.</li> </ul>
