Overview: We are seeking a Communications and Media professional to join our team! Our practice is built to provide end-to-end support for corporate communicators and PR firms. With world-class opinion research as the foundation, we craft messaging and positioning strategies, generate public opinion survey data that grabs headlines, and track the success of communications efforts over time. This role utilizes research, communication, and strategic thinking skills to work with clients across multiple verticals. A high level of passion, motivation, and excellent communication skills are required to manage an incredibly diverse slate of work, clients, and team personalities.&nbsp; Flexibility to work on multiple projects, a natural aptitude for organization, and deadline-driven deliverable creation are equally important in this fast-paced environment.&nbsp; We are looking for someone who can deliver amidst the dynamic nature of workload and pace inherent in a client service business. Our ideal candidate is brave, curious, and seasoned enough to lead projects with limited oversight; additionally, you&rsquo;ll have a strong interest in corporate communications and PR and are enthusiastic about using opinion research to craft data-driven communication strategy. &nbsp; In this role, you can look forward to regular&nbsp;client contact, a&nbsp;role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation, and a leading role in managing a project from start to finish.
Responsibilities: Additional responsibilities: <ul> <li>Designing and executing opinion research &ndash; including a significant number of public opinion polls</li> <li>Analyzing and curating data and insights</li> <li>Collaborating with team to develop strategy using research data and creative ideas</li> <li>Supporting other team members in crafting proposals, taking meeting notes, drafting questionnaires, survey fieldwork quality control, data analysis and reporting&nbsp;</li> <li>Driving multiple projects and workstreams at a time</li> <li>Working with leadership to generate ideas for improving how we work</li> </ul>
Requirements: Skills/Experience:&nbsp; <ul> <li>3+ years relevant work experience;&nbsp;insights and social science/research background is preferred</li> <li>Experience working with quantitative research, surveys, and questionnaires</li> <li>Knowledge of SPSS or other analytical software preferred</li> <li>Fluent with PowerPoint and Excel</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Strong project management, organizational, and critical thinking skills; an ability to consider both individual detail and the interrelated larger picture</li> <li>Ability to collaboratively and independently manage workloads and problem solve</li> <li>An excitement for doing great work, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to grow and develop amongst other like-minded, well-rounded humans!</li> </ul>
