Overview: Who We&rsquo;re Looking For: <br /><br />As a Director, you&rsquo;ll be focused on the delivery of insight-based solutions that drive the development of new brand platforms, identities, services, assets, programs, environments, and branded offerings to drive business growth for the world&rsquo;s best-loved and well-known brands and newer start-ups. You&rsquo;ll help shape a growing team and play a critical role in expanding the scope of Kelton&rsquo;s tool kit.&nbsp; You&rsquo;ll work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of research, strategy, design, and innovation specialists, and will have the opportunity to lead high impact projects that help brands meaningfully connect with and keep their customers at the center of their growth strategies. We need you to bring experience leading client relationships and engagements within an innovative business and structuring teams for success.&nbsp; You should already have experience with (and excitement for!) designing and pitching solutions that leverage insights to help brands develop deep, loyal connections with their customers. Responsibilities: What You&rsquo;ll Do: <ul> <li>Lead teams across mixed-method projects with a focus on quantitative work, ensuring clients have the consult and vision to achieve their objective, and that teams have the necessary guidance and strategic leadership. You&rsquo;ll often act as a thought leader throughout Kelton&rsquo;s business development process, working with a team to craft Kelton&rsquo;s offering, and playing a lead role in crafting new business proposals and pitches.</li> <li>Work with teams to deliver analyses, insights, and actionable recommendations that create meaningful impact.</li> <li>Create and own a network of relationships across accounts to develop deep and broad connections within the client organization.</li> <li>Work with other leaders to extend Kelton&rsquo;s capabilities, including scoping, forecasting, and helping recruit future talent as the offerings grow.</li> <li>Lead directly and by example to motivate and grow teams, consistently providing clear feedback to raise performance and motivate team members.</li> <li>Advance quantitative insights skills training within Kelton. Be part of a team that spearheads regular internal education.</li> <li>Maintain an engaged, close relationship with your clients about higher-level objectives while also rolling up your sleeves and leading a lean project team as required. Know when it is necessary to get involved in the day to day work in support of the team.</li> </ul>
Requirements: What You&rsquo;ll Bring: <ul> <li>7-8+ years of relevant experience working in-house or on the supplier-side, within insights, innovation, brand strategy, marketing services, or consulting.</li> <li>A proven track record leading insights and strategy projects and multi-disciplinary teams in a reputable consulting or agency environment for at least part of your career is a must.</li> <li>Extremely strong organizational skills and detail orientation. You&rsquo;ll need to balance both the micro (project details) and macro (understanding how all aspects of the engagement are interrelated, and how they ladder up to the brand/client objectives).</li> <li>Well-versed and experienced in designing and conducting a broad array of quantitative approaches such as tracking, positioning/messaging studies, segmentation studies, ad, concept, and message tests, A&amp;U studies, and pricing studies.</li> <li>Very strong experience with SPSS or a similar package highly desired; at minimum, an interest in honing technical/analytics skills.</li> <li>Superior people leadership skills; strong track record as a manager, motivator, and developer of young talent.</li> <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>An action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to relationship growth and management.</li> <li>Assertive, proactive, humble, direct, articulate, and charismatic.</li> <li>A sense of humor and zest for life!</li> </ul>
