Overview: This position will be responsible for developing internal accounting policies and controls, annual audit, corporate tax, corporate insurance, assist in the integration of new acquisitions, and consolidating the weekly cash forecast. This position will play an instrumental role in shaping the financial future of the company.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Hands-on involvement in a multi-entity accounting environment</li> <li>Execute month-end close efforts by preparing and/or reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for Group Level subsidiary, including assistance with month-end close for newly acquired companies</li> <li>Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations for intercompany allocations to other operating companies</li> <li>Assist with preparation of the monthly reporting package</li> <li>Work cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues between operating subsidiaries in a timely manner</li> <li>Ensure financial data is compliant with US GAAP</li> <li>Assist with the annual audits, including the preparation of schedules provided to auditors</li> <li>Develop and maintain documentation regarding accounting procedures and reporting</li> <li>Ad hoc analysis and projects</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field</li> <li>Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles required; CPA certification preferred</li> <li>Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience; public accounting experience preferred</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Advanced MS Excel experience or certification a plus.&nbsp;Prior ERP experience required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Outstanding organizational skills.&nbsp;Ability to structure work-plans and prioritize activities on multiple simultaneous projects and recurring activities</li> <li>Orientation toward action and taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills; highly analytical thinker</li> <li>Detail orientation and ability to identify inconsistencies and provide recommendations</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; excellent documentation skills</li> <li>Comfortable performing in a fast-paced, lean environment</li> <li>Strong appreciation for LRW values and culture</li> <li>Self-starter with a drive to succeed</li> <li>Organized, prepared, efficient and focused</li> <li>A high service attitude toward all team members</li> <li>Fosters an open, honest, and positive relationship with all coworkers</li> <li>Positive and upbeat; persistent and does not quit easily</li> <li>Must enjoy digging into details and possess an aptitude for investigating and problem solving</li> </ul>
