Responsibilities: <p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ambassadors call prospective donors on behalf of the LSU Foundation. Ambassadors are expected to follow scripting provided by their Engagement Center Manager while sharing their own positive personal experience at LSU.</li> <li>Through each phone call, Ambassadors work to raise monetary support for LSU; to foster positive relationships with alumni, parents, and friends; and to update demographic information.</li> <li>This job operates within a virtual environment. All Ambassadors are required to utilize their own personal computer and equipment (e.g., headphones) and must be able to work in a quiet location with proper Internet connection standards to complete their work.</li> <li>Through spoken and written communication, Ambassadors must follow scripts when making calls and sending texts to LSU donors and friends.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Non-essential/marginal position responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Complete projects/reports as requested&nbsp;</li> </ul>

Equipment will not be provided to Ambassadors once hired or while employed.</li> <li>Once hired, Ambassadors will be required to download software (VPN) to gain access to our secure network. Ambassadors must share what operating system they have on their computer, test their internet speed, and have a minimum of 8GB of disk space on their device to ensure they can withhold our secure network system.</li> <li>Ambassadors are required to be on video for the duration of each shift to ensure appropriate oversight by the Engagement Center Manager. Engagement Ambassadors must work at least 10 hours (5 shifts) per week. Available shifts are Monday through Friday 2 to 4 p.m., 4:15-6:15 p.m., and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Additional shifts are encouraged, with a maximum of 20 hours of work per week.
