Overview: <p>Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Development Services Coordinator is charged with managing the operational functions of the office and providing administrative support to all team members with an emphasis on development-focused tasks.</p> <p>This position&nbsp;will join a dynamic cohort of development professionals supporting the College of Humanities and Social Science, the College of Music and Dramatic Arts, the Roger Hadfield Ogden Honors College, the LSU Libraries, and the Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Together, these five units are known as the Magnolia Cohort.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><u>40 % : Development Support to Team</u></p> <ul> <li>Utilize the donor database effectively to enter and maintain contact reports and proposals for team, and submit biographical information obtained by development staff (contact, employment, marital, birthdays, student activities, etc.) to Bio and Gift Records&nbsp;</li> <li>Attend prospect strategy meetings as needed and complete action items as appropriate</li> <li>Submit research requests through ticketing system as needed</li> <li>Provide information to various areas</li> </ul> <p><u>40 % : Administrative Support to Team</u></p> <ul> <li>Perform administrative duties such as managing the calendar and activities of the senior director, preparation of expense reports, mailings, travel arrangements, meeting set up, and ordering supplies as needed for team</li> <li>Organize details related to meetings of units&rsquo; advisory boards and development task forces</li> </ul> <p><u>20 % : Other</u></p> <ul> <li>Complete donor related events and tasks, in coordination with centralized donor relations and communications and marketing areas</li> </ul> <p><strong>Non-essential/marginal position responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li> </ul>
