Overview: <p>The mission of the LSU Foundation is to cultivate in invest in philanthropic partnerships to advance LSU&rsquo;s academic priorities.</p> <p>At the LSU Foundation, the Advancement Services team harnesses data and analytical tools and technologies to answer mission-critical fundraising and business questions. The aim to use of data to draw strategic insights about donors and to discover new opportunities to optimize our business activities. In doing so, the Advancement Services team seeks to create a center of expertise on the data we create and maintain as well as analytical tools we can use to better understand our work.</p> <p>The Prospect Development office is seeking an LSU junior, senior or graduate student to join its team. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsiblities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Complete special research, analytics, visualization, and data documentation projects under the supervision of the Senior Director for Prospect Development</li> <li>Support the development of analytical materials including visualizing data and formatting reports</li> <li>Experience or deep desire to learn or practice dashboard tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot and work independently on dashboard development projects</li> <li>Schedule, coordinate, and note-take for prospect development led meetings</li> <li>Participate in advancement services department trainings and meetings</li> <li>Compile information as requested by supervisor</li> </ul> <p><strong>Marginal Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform clerical or data entry tasks</li> <li>Copy, sort, scan, and shred materials</li> <li>Deliver materials to other campus offices</li> <li>Other prospect development-related duties</li> </ul>
