Overview: <p>The LSU Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate professional for the position of Quality Assurance Analyst. This position will serve as a resource and interface with end users throughout the entire LSU Foundation organization and our LSU affiliates.&nbsp;</p> <p>The goal is to assure the high quality of our operation and services contributing to the long-term success of the LSU Foundation. The Quality Assurance Analyst is expected to be knowledgeable about LSU fundraising business processes, be timely in the delivery of requests, and work collaboratively with IS and Advancement.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <p><u>Business Process Improvement Support&nbsp;</u></p> <ol> <li>Understand business requirements and rules, and recommend adjustments to the Information Services (IS) team when appropriate</li> <li>Develop process improvement procedures to improve operational efficiency</li> <li>Analyze current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for improvements</li> <li>Advise IS staff of best practices when developing recommendations&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare communication plans regarding process re-engineering for multiple stakeholders</li> <li>Update and maintain documentation on process improvements and process performance</li> </ol> <p><u>Quality Analysis Support</u></p> <ol> <li>Verify the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of products and resources produced by the IS team</li> <li>Troubleshoot any issues with the delivery of products from IS and implement fixes if available</li> <li>Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback</li> <li>Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases</li> <li>Thoroughly test all system changes and enhancements prior to deployment</li> <li>Identify training needs and organize training to meet quality standards</li> <li>Assure ongoing compliance with quality policies and procedures including data, security, PCI and GDPR&nbsp;</li> </ol> <p><strong>Marginal Duties &amp; Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ol> <li>Comprehensive understanding of technical systems and processes employed by the IS staff</li> <li>Work within the JIRA ticketing system to track, document, and update user requests</li> <li>Complete projects/reports as requested</li> <li>Contributes to team objectives by accomplishing information technology tasks as needed</li> </ol>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Time management and ability to shift priorities accordingly</li> <li>Ability to interpret end user specifications and communicate technical topics in non-technical ways</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Strong relationship building skills</li> <li>High commitment to accuracy and excellence</li> <li>Experience working directly with customers or clients to understand business requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Knowledge &amp; Skill Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of stored procedures, packages, functions, and views</li> <li>Experience with CRM Platforms such as Ellucian Advance, Salesforce, Blackbaud NXT/CRM, Microsoft Dynamics</li> <li>Understanding of SQL (T-SQL and/or PL-SQL)</li> <li>Experience in designing, testing, and implementing technical solutions</li> <li>Experience in a fundraising industry</li> <li>Understanding of relational database fundamentals</li> <li>Understanding of Business Intelligence / Analytics platforms</li> <li>Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)</li> </ul>
