Phone Program Coordinator

As a core member of the LSU Foundation's Annual Giving Team, the Phone Program Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and implement phone solicitation programs of alumni, parents, students and friends in support of LSU’s fundraising initiatives. This position will analyze the results of phone campaigns to identify opportunities to increase participation and philanthropic support of LSU.

Coordinator

Overview: The Phone Program Coordinator is a core member of the LSU Foundation&rsquo;s Annual Giving Team. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Annual Giving, the Phone Program Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and implement phone solicitation programs of alumni, parents, students and friends in support of LSU&rsquo;s fundraising initiatives. This position will analyze the results of phone campaigns to identify opportunities to increase participation and philanthropic support of LSU. The coordinator will collaborate with colleges and units as well as multiple departments within the LSU Foundation to advance university-wide phone campaigns.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <p><u>Implement strategy to align phone program with other Annual Giving channels and special campaigns including Giving Day, Senior Gift Campaign, Faculty/Staff Campaign, and Leadership Renewals.</u></p> <ul> <li>Research, analyze, monitor and evaluate phone solicitation programs for effectiveness, reporting results to appropriate higher levels of administration and making recommendations to improve.</li> <li>Research and put forth for consideration new strategies that will increase giving through the phone channel, including but not limited to text to give.</li> </ul> <p><u>Oversee Call Center Vendor/Manager relationship</u></p> <ul> <li>Review daily calling statistics</li> <li>Participate in weekly calls</li> <li>Participate in bi-annual strategy review&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide segment pools and ID&rsquo;s to call center vendor/call center manager for special campaigns</li> </ul> <p><u>Prepare deliverables to be used by call center&nbsp;</u></p> <ul> <li>College/unit calling scripts, updated annually and reviewed quarterly</li> <li>Campaign specific calling scripts, created/updated as needed</li> <li>Appeal codes, created annually and updated as needed</li> <li>Fund Designations, created annually and updated as needed</li> </ul> <p><u>Review and approve, in coordination with Communications and Marketing, all fulfillment deliverables, including but not limited to letters, emails, and texts</u></p> <ul> <li>Maintain inventory of supplies, including fulfillment letterhead and envelopes</li> </ul> <p><u>Marginal Duties &amp; Responsibilities&nbsp;</u></p> <ul> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university</li> <li>At least two years of work experience, preferably in a call center program</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul> <p><u>Preferred Knowledge &amp; Skill Qualifications</u></p> <ul> <li>Experience in development in a higher education environment</li> </ul> <p><u>Supervisory Responsibilities</u></p> <ul> <li>None</li> </ul> <p><u>Work Environment Requirements</u></p> <ul> <li>May be required to occasionally work extended workdays, evenings or weekends</li> </ul>
