Online Engagement Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Director of Annual Giving, the Online Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development, execution, and growth of the LSU Foundation’s online fundraising program, including crowdfunding and email campaigns.

Overview: As the LSU Foundation prepares for its first billion-dollar plus campaign, the Annual Giving Department is tasked to cultivate relationships with the goal of building a robust donor pipeline for major gifts. Reporting to the Senior Director of Annual Giving, the Online Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development, execution, and growth of the LSU Foundation&rsquo;s online fundraising program, including crowdfunding and email campaigns. This work consists of the cross-departmental coordination of multi-channel fundraising efforts, email marketing, delivery and performance reporting for each online fundraising message or campaign in an effort to develop strategies that will increase donor engagement and revenues.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <p>LSU Day of Giving</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate interactions within the offices of Annual Giving, Communications &amp; Marketing, Advancement Services, Gift Processing, and Donor Relations&nbsp;</li> <li>Create and manage project plans with timelines for each department&rsquo;s deliverable(s)</li> <li>Manage crowdfunding platform and campaigns, including the creation of new donation pages as needed and the maintenance of all current donation pages</li> </ul> <p>Crowdfunding</p> <ul> <li>Administer all campaigns, internal and external, on crowdfunding platform</li> <li>Create and manage project plans for all internal campaigns in conjunction with appropriate Annual Giving team lead and Communications &amp; Marketing area</li> </ul> <p>Email Solicitations</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate email solicitations that follow each direct mail appeal in conjunction with the Associate Director, Direct Mail and Communications &amp; Marketing area</li> <li>Coordinate quarterly email campaigns in conjunction with Senior Director of Annual Giving and Communications &amp; Marketing area</li> </ul> <p>Online Giving</p> <ul> <li>Assign all Vanity URL&rsquo;s, keeping a log of both open and closed</li> <li>Manage the online giving commerce page by updating designations</li> <li>Research and offer solutions to LSU Foundation to get closer to frictionless giving</li> <li>Oversee development of online donor relationships and perform on-going assessment of donors&rsquo; needs to ensure a customer service oriented experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and maintain an online fundraising calendar to leverage and maximize the Foundation&rsquo;s offline annual appeals</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university</li> <li>At least two years of work experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul>
