Overview: <strong>This position is open to be remote for the right candidate.<br /><br />JOB SUMMARY:</strong><br />Analyze, develop, and implement technical and business solutions to support the needs of the Information Technologies customers. Work with customers to provide technical expertise in the analysis, development and design of business applications that solve business problems or fulfill business needs. Provide technical support for business applications that are implemented and maintained by the Information Technologies department.
Responsibilities: &bull; Leads medium to large multi-resource projects to successful completion, preparing project estimates, directing and coordinating development and technical installation of information systems by defining technical design and development work to be completed. Establishes work plans for completion of assigned projects and coordinates technical work efforts across IT areas for assigned projects, ensuring solutions comply with architectural standards and established SDLC methodologies that meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.<br />&bull; Supports and develops Application Developers by providing technical advice, coaching, and mentorship.<br />&bull; Analyzes functional requirements, identify options for meeting those requirements, and recommend a course of action<br />&bull; Implements application changes that consider business functionality, optimal application performance and the current technical operating environment.<br />&bull; Builds codes, plans and successfully performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements.<br />&bull; Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other to support project efforts. Participate in business workshops to understand requirements, identify the integration points and work with the required resources from other teams to create detailed system design documentation. Coordinate teams for integration testing. User Acceptance testing and also identify all resources and steps required for production cut over and go LIVE<br />&bull; Identify opportunities to learn and leverage new technologies to provide better solutions to business and provide required support.<br />&bull; Uses system traces and debugging tools for problem determination and system tuning.<br />&bull; Identify opportunities to learn and leverage new technologies to provide better solutions to business and provide required support.<br />&bull; Participates in structured technical and functional walkthroughs of specifications and programming logic with project team members.<br />&bull; Follows procedures for change control in a manner that ensures that production systems are not adversely affected by development and test activities.<br /><br /><strong>SCOPE &amp; IMPACT:</strong><br />This position supports the Retail organization (140+ stores) to create technical solutions to advance applications. Responsibilities include support of functional areas across multiple disciplines, and divisions; and multiple systems and technology bases.
Requirements: <strong>MINIMIUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br />&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.<br />&bull; 1-3 years Supervisory/Leadership experience.<br />&bull; Analytical abilities in designing Retail related systems/applications.<br />&bull; Experience using JAVA technology<br />&bull; 3-5 years for React development experience<br />&bull; Ability to effectively work with both technical staff and business process owners<br />&bull; Strong oral and written communication skills<br />&bull; Problem solving skills<br />&bull; Ability to manage multiple complex tasks/projects simultaneously and independently<br />&bull; Strong documentation skills<br />&bull; Teamwork &amp; Interpersonal skills<br />&bull; Travel: Up to 10%<br /><br /><strong>PREFERED REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br />&bull; Experience in more than one applicable development language/utility: HTML, SQL, Eclipse, Github, DROOLS, React, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare Tanzu<br /><br /><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>: None.<br /><br /><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong><br />Office environment / no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
