Responsibilities: &nbsp;&bull; Drive Retail Product Mix selection and store distribution plans. Maintain and share Vignette Mix, DC &amp; Recliner Rank, with Merchandising leadership. &bull; Effectively manage level of inventory to meet overall Retail inventory on-hand goals. Manage transfers of merchandise out to stores with the assistance of Order Entry Teams. Ensure product rollouts are received in stores in a timely manner in support of all marketing initiatives. Manage all merchandise orders for retail store openings and remodels. &bull; Analyze, review &amp; report out to leadership in order to properly evaluate sales rates, margins and other retail benchmarks to determine next steps/ buying decisions. Prepare and distribute automated monthly sales and inventory tracking reports. Maintain stock product reports which detail VSN, Description, Cost, Reg and Sale Price, Active/Discontinued Status, Sales, and Inventory position. &bull; Develop Casegood programs and products utilizing La-Z-Boy portfolio companies and approved vendors with the goal of enhancing all furniture and building margin, sales, and average ticket. Determine appropriate price point relationship for occasional items as it relates to upholstery line up. &bull; Work in collaboration with the Residential Merchandising Team to develop retail concepts utilizing Upholstery, Casegoods, and Rugs, Lamps &amp; Accessories (RLA) programs. &bull; Select products for retail programs based on over all vision, price points, styling, trends, and target consumer. Attend Industry Markets as assigned. &bull; Assist with selection of merchandise in merchandise circulars, ads and projects as needed. Develop and suggest promotional ideas and concepts with the goal of increasing sales volume and margin in assigned categories. &bull; Research and evaluate potential furniture line-up changes in regard to product mix, price point, delivery, service, quality and demographics. &bull; Participate in merchandising and Upholstery &amp; Casegoods council calls/discussions. Provide directives and promotional plans to Sales and Visual stores partners on a weekly basis. SCOPE &amp; IMPACT: In-Direct Reports = 2 (Order Entry Operations) Supports the Director of Retail Merchandising Retail Division Dollar Volume $103 Million Sales Annually, Manages $ 42 Million Inventory 140+ Retail Locations, New Store Openings and Remodels for Retail and Independents Approximately 2,000 VSN's&nbsp;
Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Design, Merchandising or related field with 6-8 years of experience including 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience or equivalent &bull; Travel Required: 25% PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: &bull; None SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Up to 2 direct reports PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
